Alberger® brand flake salts, exclusively from Cargill, are tiny, multi-faceted crystals created from a process that starts with a hollow pyramid shape. These unique crystals with a large surface area and low bulk density provide superior adherence, blendability and solubility compared to regular cube-shaped granulated salt. The rapid solubility also gives Alberger® Salt its flavor burst when used in topical applications. Alberger® brand flake salts are available in a wide variety of granulation sizes with and without flow agents.
